The Busch Area has 32 fishing lakes open year-round. The most common fish in the lakes are largemouth bass, bluegill, channel catfish, and crappie. You may also catch sunfish, hybrid striped bass, smallmouth bass, flathead catfish, bullheads, green sunfish, and carp.

The Suson Park Rearing Pond is cooperatively managed as a Conservation Fishing Center to help teach kids and families how to fish by offering fishing programs. These programs include: free equipment use; basic fishing and safety instruction; free fishing bait; and fishing in a stocked pond.
