Chamber President Greg Brown welcomed everyone in attendance. Greg Brown recognized the newly elected Chamber Board of Directors, Pat Feder of Comprehensive Chiropractic, Angela Weeks of American Solutions for Business, Carlos Arnavat of WebiT USA and himself, Chief Greg Brown of Eureka Missouri Fire Department. He also recognized former board member Marilyn Oberkramer of Jefferson Bank & Trust. Greg Brown acknowledged the Eureka City and Aldermen in attendance; Mayor Kevin Coffey, City Administrator Craig Sabo, Alderman Bob Berry and Tim Jones. Greg stated the Chamber's relationship in 2003 was the best to date and commended Director of Business Development Gary O'Grady for his outstanding performance and dedication in helping to strengthen this relationship.
Eureka Mayor Kevin Coffey wished everyone a very Merry Christmas and said its been wonderful working with the Eureka Chamber and President Greg Brown in 2003.
Senator John Griesheimer (District 26) was introduced and wished everyone a Merry Christmas. Senator Griesheimer stated he was working on getting Amtrak to stop in Eureka Missouri.
President Brown, Vice President Feder and Director of Business Development Gary O'Grady presented a $2,500.00 check to Sherry Nauman of the Route 66 Senior Center.
Sherry Nauman said the money would go to replace a worn out and very needed truck. "Every year, more and more seniors depend on meals and the help provided by the center. Thank you very much." - stated Sherry Nauman. The rest of the evening was celebrated with holiday music by Russ Hilton of Wildman Productions, lots of tasty hors d'oeuvres and drinks provided by Mike Klenke of the Ramada Inn.
