Chamber President, Chief Greg Brown called attention to ballots distributed at the meeting. Ballots can be mailed out up until November 20, 2003. Candidates for 2003 are:

One ballot per member business. Candidates gave short speech highlighting their background and interest in serving on the Board of Directors. Collected and mailed ballots will be tabulated by Jean Tucker (Treasurer), Leslie Tupper (Secretary) and Gary O'Grady (Director of Business Development) with the four elected members to be introduced at the December meetings. Each committee of the board was giving an opportunity to report. 2004 membership renewals and directory advertising deadlines were highlighted.

Welcome new Chamber Members:
Mayor Kevin Coffey announced that the Walgreen's Project, the SSM Medical Building Plan, and the JBA project were announced as having been approved by the City of Eureka this week. Mr. Bob Berry announced the next chamber after hours scheduled for 6 - 8 pm of 11/20 at Pioneer Bank. A chili cook out with music will set the tone for the networking event. Plans for the JBA project were displayed. Mr. Sean Flower of American Heritage Homes described the project in detail as it has been developed to this point. Q & A followed his presentation.
